My wife and I just returned from our first trip to New York for our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel we stayed at was top notch, The Four Seasons Hotel New York - this is where Oprah, Bon Jovi and other celebrities stay, so you know everything there is nothing but the best.
Upon our arrival, the staff had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us. I told them thank you but that we didn't drink... They replied, “Is there something else you would like.” I said, “How about some genuine New York cheesecake?” They responded with, “That can be arranged.”
We enjoyed the cheesecake in our room, and afterwards I asked my wife, “What did you think of the cheesecake?” Her reply was exactly what I was thinking... ”Jamie’s is better.” Not to take anything away from the Four Seasons Hotel but Jamie’s was better. Richer, tastier, more firm, not heavy, just better.

I tasted your cheesecake just yesterday--oh mi gosh...yum! Unfortunately, I am lactose intolerant and I don't partake often, but I mean to say that your recipe is really fantastic and well worth the bloating and belly ache! lol I'm incredibly glad that I opted for a bite and ended up eating an entire slice! I've got a cheesecake fanatic in the house so I look forward to ordering for birthdays and the like.

"I am pleased to say that Jamie's cheesecakes are heaven sent! I had the pleasure of photographing Jamie's cheesecakes for his website and was sent home with samples! Lucky me... I shared the samples with my husband, his parents and my four year old daughter. Of course the adults raved about the cheesecake but the real critique was made by my daughter, Megan. She loved it! and a four year old never lies when it comes to dessert... So kudos to Jamie for bringing real NY style cheesecakes to Surprise! We didn't know what we were missing!
